Photograph of the audience at an outdoor play, Claremont, ca.1930. The audience is seated in stadium-style seating in which the people seated further from the play are elevated in a higher row. Most every seat appears to be taken, except for high rows towards the right. Most of the men and women are wearing hats and are looking towards the right. A low wall can be seen running across the center of the audience, while the railing for a staircase is visible intersecting the wall at center. One man can be seen walking up the stairs at center, while an umbrella is visible jutting out from the audience to the left of center.
