Photograph caption dated July 19, 1963 reads, "Polynesian music and tiki torches will set the mood for the annual benefit of the Van Nuys Junior Chamber of Commerce Wives Club at 7 p.m. July 27 in the Royal Oaks home of Mrs. Sara Berger. Among the committee chairmen are Mmes. Bill Waite, left, Jerry Watson and Richard Lithgow. Prizes will be awarded for the best costume and an authentic Polynesian dinner will be served. Proceeds will go to the Valley Children's Play Park Association to be used toward establishing and equipping a children's play park in the Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks Memorial Playground. Co-chairmen are Mrs. Fred Raio and Mrs. Miles Klein."
