Photograph caption dated October 13, 1962 reads, "Head chef Gene Galvo forks out mostaccioli, or spaghetti, for complete home-style Italian Dinner sponsored by the Italian Catholic Federation, Tujunga Branch, from noon to 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Lourdes auditorium, Mountair Ave. and Apperson St. Kristie, 10 1/2, (left) and Kathie Sanders, 13, will wear native costumes as they serve. Mr. and Mrs. Nello Pizza admire Galvo's work. Take-out orders will be served from 9 a.m. Entertainment will be furnished all afternoon. The Sepulveda Branch of the Federation will also sponsor a spaghetti dinner at Our Lady of Peace Church, 15452 Nordhoff St., from 1 to 6 p.m."
