Washington: President Nixon met with his Citizens Advisory Committee on Environmental Quality 10/9 in the Roosevelt Room of the White House and announced a joint government-consumer energy saving campaign. The campaign recommends turning down thermostats and installing weather stripping and insulation in homes. With the President at the meeting is Interior Secretary Rogers C. B. Morton, left, and Henry L. Diamond, a member of the committee.
