Description
China Oriental Curio Co., Los Angeles, postcard, note dated 1906 December 31. The front of the card has a photograph of the store with four people standing near the door. At the bottom is a caption noting that the company were "Importers and Dealers in China and Japan Curios," and giving the address at 526-528 North Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles, California, USA. The note is written in ink at the right side. On the reverse is a printed ad for the Balloon Route Excursion attraction and space for the stamp and address. Several postmarks and the cancellation stamp are here. With staining, mainly on the front, edge and corner wear, and some creases, the condition is fair. From "E. C." to A. T. Cravell, Derry Hill, Pennsylvania, USA. "We found a more desirable place farther out of the City." -- first line.
