Photograph caption dated June 11, 1959 reads, "Judith Ann Kessler, 17, who graduates in June from Van Nuys High School and resides with her mother, Mrs. Vera Mae Kessler at 14908 Sherman Way, is shown being presented a certificate award sponsored by Dr. Elizabeth Gist Dozier which will enable her to take a three-year course in nursing at the Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital. The presentation was made by Mrs. Nelle Powell, incoming president of the San Fernando Zonta Club, who entertained Miss Kessler at a dinner meeting."
