Aerial view of the Westlake area; looking southwest. The Western Mortgage Corporation building - still under construction and which will be located at 2700 Wilshire Boulevard, is visible mid-photo (flat roof). The tall, white building across the street is the Royale Hotel. Some of the identifiable streets are Hoover Street (running horizontally along the top); Rampart Boulevard (behind the white building); Wilshire Boulevard (lower middle, curving to upper right); Sunset Place (upper middle); and 7th Street (extreme upper left). A small portion of LaFayette Park peeks out from upper right. Photograph dated February 17, 1956.
