A road can be seen across the foreground, while the church can be seen at center on the far side of the road. A wire fence and palm trees can be seen to the right of the church, while tall buildings are visible behind and to the left of the church. A water tower can be seen. Vines grow on the right side of the church, and three bells hang near the ceiling at left. A trolley can be seen at left, a cyclist and a pedestrian are visible just to the right of the church, and a horse pulling a carriage or wagon is visible at right. Legible signs include: "Yogue Nail Polish", "[...]Co.", "Baby Food", and "[...] Brunsw[...] Wholesa[...]". Back of photoprint reads "Oldest church in S.A.".
