Description: Young women sailors sit in flower-encrusted sailboats cruising through waves as the South Pasadena float goes down Colorado Blvd. The float is part of the 1947 Pasadena Rose Parade. 'South Pasadena Summertime' is written in flowers on the 'train' side of the float. Spectators fill the sidewalk and stands. A photographer is walking backward behind the float in order to take a picture of the following parade. Another photographer stands by the spectators, center right. Photo dated: 1947.
