Photograph caption dated December 23, 1961 reads, "The name of the girl is Nina wells, 5, 5841 Matilija Ave., Van Nuys. With the light of a Christmas tree reflecting the wonder in her eyes, she peers through a mountain of red cloth and white fur at a Santa Claus distributing gifts at a West Valley Mother-of-twins-Club party at North Hollywood Park. Although her face, of course, has a distinctiveness of its own, it is the face of all children at Christmastime. It is innocence surrounded by a magic that comes once a year. It is expectation, awe. It is one of the most beautiful sights in the world."; See images #00113166 through #00113174 for all photos in this series.
