Man in knee-length coat and boots with pan on his head, walking, carrying suitcase, pots and pans, teapot, shovel, pick-axe, sausages, and fish; sign behind him: "To St. Louis - 350 miles" and "To California - 1700 miles"; [ca. 1850]
Back side of print appears to be a title page: "Kelloggs & Comstocks' colored prints, a splendid assortment, superior to any in market, Ensigns & Thayers' Maps and charts, a variety unequaled."
