Description
Photograph of interior of an unidentified factory, showing two factory workers gripping a large piece of equipment, ca.1935. At center, two factory workers are visible among many pieces of machinery. Both men wear slacks and a darkly-colored shirt. The man on the left has rolled-up his sleeves, and a large pair of gloves protrude from his back pocket. Both men grip the sides of a large transparent object. The object has been placed on top of a large metal container, and a large covering has been placed between the transparent object and the container. Above the object, a large piece of machinery composed of several bars can be seen. To the left of the men, another curved compartment can be seen. Several bars extend from the top of the object and connect to a large cylinder extending to the ceiling. An arm is visible on the far left gripping the compartment. In the extreme background, a large pipe is adjacent to more machinery. In the extreme foreground at center, small pipes connected to small circular vales with a gauge can be seen. A small roll of tape hangs from one side. On the far right, small levers can be seen along the floor.
