Leprosy Surgeon, DM Johannes G. Andersen (1922-2005). During the second half of the 20th Century, the lives of Johs. G. and Karen Andersen were concentrated on development of the leprosy treatment in Asia and Africa, with particular focus on reconstructive surgery and rehabilitation. After retirement, Johs. G. served for some month at Nilphamari Hospital, Bangladesh, sent by Danida and The Leprosy Mission. Photo 1987. (See also portraits).
