Description
"The ground and house referred to in the Promissory Note given on the 11th March 1830 by Angel Gubisto to Francisco Devoto, and belonging to the former, are situated in the Pueblo of San Jose de Guadalupe in Market Street, being the fourth lot westerly [piece missing] white adobe house belonging to Francisco Mattei and situated in the same street. Said ground or parcel of land was bought from Andres Mattei by the aforesaid Angel Gubista, and measured Six and a quarter varas in front by fifty in depth, and the house which said Gubisto has thereon erected occupied the whole front, and is built entirely of wood, having two doors, giving on the street, and wherein a small business in provisions is carried on.
