Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated March 23, 1963 reads, "Campfire girls from the Ko-Pa-Wo-Conda group, Emmanual [sic] Lutheran Church, North Hollywood, have fashioned Biblical puppets to illustrate their own scripts which they record on tapes...Sara Jones, 11, studies her script while holding puppet depicting Jesus; Eva Maaso, 14, handles puppet of Joseph and a Roman soldier, and Becky Walker, 12, records dialog for presentation. Her puppets depict Biblical characters, Reuben and Levi. Curtis Pereau, 15 months, a Zapotec Indian from Oaxaca, Mexico, and adopted son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pereau, advisers, is the group mascot."
