Description: Lana Turner's love letters to Johnny Stompanato were published in the Herald Examiner five days after his murder. The letters were damaging to Cheryl Crane's defense and to Turner's reputation. Turner wrote to Stompanato about her deep love for him, how she ached to be with him, referring to him as "My Darling" in this letter.
