Description
Construction of the largest fair building in the world at the Los Angeles County Fair grounds. The building is 800 feet long and 150 feet wide. It is the largest building known of such dimensions of steel arches and concrete walls, arranged so that there is not a single interior pillar. It is the first unit of a contemplated ten-year program of major development that will mean the investment of more than $1,000,000 in a permanent structure. Photo dated: September 13, 1930.
