Description
Kashnor notes, "Shows California. locating New Albion and the Harbor of Sr. Francis Drake." Map hurried to completion for Robertson's History, published at the beginning of the American Revolution. The publisher, T. Cadell, could be either Cadell, T. (Thomas), 1742-1802 or Cadell, Thomas, 1773-1836; father and son, both printers who worked on the Strand, London. Submap of Mexico City and Environs. Ms note: 252 (on backing). Prime meridian: Ferro. Relief: pictorial. Projection: Pseudocylindrical. Printing Process: Copper engraving. Other Features: Sub-maps.
