Photograph caption dated September 1, 1962 reads, "Mrs. Lois Gereghty would like your cooperation in helping solve a mystery that has her Sepulveda neighborhood stumped. It's also a mystery that has Mrs. Gereghty's two dogs - big Mike and little Cleo - a little embarrassed. Their ability as watchdogs is being questioned. And for good reason. Some of Mrs. Gereghty's best pots and pans are being taken literally from under the dogs' noses."
