Mrs. John J. Hamlyn (Eleanor Bingham Hamlyn). Together with Leland Doherty (left) and John M. Taylor (right), she was honored by the Rotary Club of Sacramento for her role in founding the Children's Receiving Home (1944), a joint effort of the Sacramento Junior League (Mrs. Hamlyn was a past president) and the Rotary Club.
