Diemer, genl mgr and chief eng. of MWD, having glasses filled with Colorado River water by Louis R. Howson, national pres. of American Society of Civil Engineers. Behind them is bronze plaque designating Colo River Aqueduct as one of seven engineering wonders of U.S., presented to MWD by Howson".
