The replacement building includes exterior Streamline Moderne elements that mimic those of the original structure. A large crowd waits outside the Trans-American Video (TAV) Celebrity Theater, 1535 N. Vine Street in Hollywood, before a taping of the Merv Griffin Show in April 1983. The 18-story Sunset Vine Tower is prominently visible as well.
