Photograph of a double parachute drop from a balloon at the Dominguez Hills Air Meet, 1912. The large, teardrop-shaped balloon is at center and is spewing smoke from the top. The two parachutes are also at center, but are much lower in the sky. One is dark and the other is light, and both are round. A large crowd is gathered below the falling objects, and several early-model automobiles as well as a biplane are visible.
