Photograph caption dated October 1, 1954 reads "Pioneer Days Festival Queen Carol Lilly surrounded by her court of princesses, representing 15 service organizations which co-sponsored fair with North Hollywood Junior Chamber of Commerce. Queen is holding her prizes, trip for two to Mexico City and year's course at George Bruce Gym for poise and personality. Fair Chairman Glenn Taylor presented awards."
