Description: The Pico House, sometimes called "Old Pico House", built by Pio Pico in 1869-70, sets to the left of the Merced Theatre in this picture. A sign business is to the right. Signs for various business can be seen all down the street on the 1st floor, and the sign above the Pico reads "Old Pico House". Cars are both parked and driving by, people are walking by.
