Photograph of mourners at the public viewing of Ruben Salazar's casket as he lay in state, Bagües and Sons Mortuary, 1930 East 1st Street, east Los Angeles, California, 1970 September 1. The public viewing occurred the day prior to the funeral (Newport Beach, California, 1970 September 2). Salazar died 1970 August 29.
