Description
In this interview Sid Harris discusses the mission of the Drucker Center. He explains that at the Center they seek to advance the practice of management through teaching and research, which they have done by building a quality faculty and student body. He goes on to explain that the Drucker Center takes an interdisciplinary and integrative approach to management. Harris also details how the Center seeks to blend theory and practice in a way that capitalizes on the experience of the students in the classrooms and by doing so they hope to teach the students to transfer that knowledge from the classroom into the working world. Later in the interview he explains that the Center offers an advanced degree oriented education meaning that they have a range of degree options for the students.
