Description
Map of Pasadena, 1893. The map is a bird's eye view of Pasadena as is appeared in 1893, the San Gabriel Mountains are seen in the background. The map's title at the foot reads: "Pasadena California 1893. Published by Wood &Church No. 52 E. Colorado St." A printed note in the lower right-hand corner reads: "Reproduced in 1972 by Historic Urban Plans, Ithaca New york from a lithograph in the Amon Carter Museum of Western Art". This print is no. 423 of 500 numbered copies. Surrounding the bird'eye view of Pasadena are 19 vignettes of important structures and landmarks in Pasadena.
