Description
A bifold greeting card with a photo of the Stocking family in front of a Christmas tree printed on the front (Image A), and a photo of Gene Gardner Stocking (1923-2012) on the inside (Image B). A typed message on the inside reads: "Dear Friends and Family, Gene Gardner Stocking, a life-long Mill Valley resident passed away peacefully with her family on April 4, 2012. She was 88 years old. A private family service was held earlier this year. Enclosed is the last family photo that was taken at Christmas 2011. Gene was regretful for not sending out her annual family photo in her holiday card last year. We wanted to share this special photo with all of her friends and family. Gene's family has grown in 2012. Her grandson Marshall Perin proposed to his long time girlfriend Heather Shields at a Giant's playoff game this year. They are engaged and plan to be married next summer. Gene's first great grandchild Dolores Jeanne Brooks was born on September 12, 2012 to proud parents Heather (formerly Perin) and Damien Brooks. She is happy and healthy and a precious gift to the family. Gene is greatly missed, her kind and gracious spirit lives on in our memories. We wish you and your families a wonderful holiday season.
