Photograph caption dated October 9, 1958 reads "Rich Salvitti, left, is rated a fine pass-catching end for the North Hollywood High Huskies who tomorrow night also will depend on Fullback [sic] Mike McLean (not pictured), shown barrelling into the camera with the ball, in an all-important Valley League football game at Van Nuys. Both players are rated among the Valley's best."
