Description
This is Bob Virgil’s introductory video for the Edward Jones “Managing the Drucker Way” course. According to Virgil, the purpose of the course is to deepen the students’ understanding of responsibility-based management, and prepare them to become more effective responsibility-based managers at the Edward Jones firm. Virgil concludes by asking the viewer three discussion questions. First, when you think about Peter Drucker, what comes to mind? Second, what do you find most challenging or difficult about managing others? And finally, what do you hope to get out of this course?
