The road is divided by streetcar tracks and lined with parked automobiles. Tall buildings can be seen on both sides of the road, and lighted Christmas trees are visible on the sidewalks. Legible signs include, from left: "The May Co.", "Adohr America's Finest Milk", "Palace", "Tower", "California Music Co.", and "Rialto Con. Nagel 2 Features".
