Description
Profile of singer-songwriter and guitarist Dave Hamilton, born in Santa Rosa, in 1947, and currently living in Windsor. Hamilton describes his music as "a little ragtime and finger-pickin' blues, folk, bluegrass, Americana, traditional country." He played with Valley of the Moonshiners in the mid-80s, followed by a long stint with the Sonoma Mountain Band from 1993-2015. He currently plays solo, duo or trio formats, mostly on guitar, but occasionally on banjo and ukulele.
