This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco."
Text written under photo: "Entrance to cars, Twin Peaks Tunnell [sic] 1917." View looks east toward Castro Street on the new Market Street extension. The street has not been paved yet as evidenced by the paved surfaces of the cross streets, slick due to rain. Two horses are pulling a wagon a block away. The four entrance kiosks of Muni's Eureka Station can be seen. This station was inside Twin Peaks Tunnel just west of its east portal.
