Photograph caption dated June 23, 1961 reads, "Actress Lana Turner is pictured arriving at Santa Monica Superior Court today for hearing for her daughter, Cheryl Crane, 17, before a juvenile referee. Miss Turner is accompanied by her present husband, Fred May, and former husband, Steven Crane, rear. After closed hearing, it was announced 'everything has been worked out satisfactorily.'"
