Description
Mrs. Henry T. Wright, left, and Miss Sarah W. Lyon, past presidents of the Daughters of 1812, are shown at the flagpole on historic Fort Moore, where the last annual Flag Day ceremony was celebrated today. They are holding clippings of The Evening Herald laid in the cornerstone in 1916, which are removed and will be put in the foundation at the new site of the flagpole on the hill. Photo dated June 14, 1941.
