Description
Sacramento Junior College's signature archway is shown in this circa 1940 postcard. The campus's early architectural style -- introduced by architects Howard Hazen and Earl Barnett -- followed a blend of both Romanesque and Byzantine design concepts. The school was located at 3835 Freeport Boulevard.
