Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
In 1973, Frank Robinson founded Robinson Helicopter Company, which employs about 1,200 employees. In addition to manufacturing helicopters, Robinson includes a research and development division, has an overhaul program to service older helicopters and offers educational courses for flight instructors and maintenance technicians.
An R44 helicopter made by Robinson Helicopter Company takes a test flight over the Port of Los Angeles, where hundreds of container shipments are stacked at terminals. The Henry Ford Bridge and the green Commodore Schuyler F. Heim Bridge are seen in the background.
