Title supplied by cataloger. Photograph article dated June 24, 1961 partially reads, "The setting was Robin Hood Lake at Corriganville, Ray 'Crash' Corrigan's famous movie ranch in the Simi Valley. John Ford was directing a scene for his segment of Metro's 'How The West Was Won,' the first Cinerama feature to tell a story. Ford had assembled nearly 200 uniformed Union artillerymen, half a dozen horses, and 30 ready-to-blast cannons for the shot...The shots were for a montage of the battle of Shiloh and will be the only violence per se in Ford's segment of the picture. The director said he was treating the 20-minute segment as one of mood, a thought provoking transition sequence."
