Produced at Leo Diner Films in cooperation with KRON-TV (Bill Cothran), KPIX-TV (Dave Caldwell), KGO-TV (News Department) and the San Francisco Chronicle and San Francisco Examiner. Original footage by Charles Stanyan and Bernie Rausch. Narrated by Art Brown. Written and produced by Robert M. Smalley. This newsfilm was a gift to George Christopher from a group of friends and was presented to him on January 5, 1964, commemorating Mr. Christopher’s eight years as mayor of San Francisco, the maximum permitted by San Francisco Charter.
