Description
Several swimmers standing and sitting in folding lawn chairs on a wooden pathway along a river or lake. The water is calm, with trees lining the banks. A stone arch bridge spans the water. One of the women is seated in a chair, wearing a robe and sandals (possibly Marjorie Hill). Another group is standing in their bathing suits, with a canoe in the water next to them. From a strip of Eastman Plus X negatives showing vacation images from somewhere in California. There are two primary settings: 1) A multi-story Spanish-colonial resort set amidst trees, that appears to be near a river or lake with a stone arch bridge above a swimming area. There also appears to be a golf course nearby. 2) Small sailboats participating in a sailing regatta in a body of water with hills in the background and a small harbor and marina with parking lot and stucco buildings along the shore. Related images are also found in 1993-12-79 and possibly 1993-12-75.
