Photograph was edited for publication purposes Undated photograph article partially reads, "A letter reportedly written by Abraham Lincoln to Ann Rutledge as she lay on her deathbed in 1835 is possessed today by a Valley resident who waited nearly 30 years to get it. Mrs. Bessie Mullins, of 1217 N. Reese pl., Burbank, had the authenticity of the note checked by R. M. Ariss, head of the history department in the Arts Museum at Exposition Park, Los Angeles. Ariss now has a photostatic copy of it on display in the Exposition building."
