Photograph of an exterior view of the first Masonic Lodge in Los Angeles, located at four hundred sixteen and a half North Main Street, ca.1885. The lodge building is a two-story structure with a second floor balcony. There are three large French doors on the second story that open onto the balcony. The first floor has two doors flanking an awning covered window. Several pedestrians are standing in small groups on the sidewalk in front of the lodge, and two similar buildings are visible on either side. Legible signs include, from left to right, "418", "416 1/2", and "Shoe Store".
