Two paved roads intersect in the foreground at right.The large brick building can be seen on a streetcorner at center. It is seven stories high and has Romanesque columns on the facade at right. A fire escape can be seen on the side of the building at left. Automobiles are parked near the curb around the building. A fire hydrant is visible in the foreground at left. A sign on the roof of the Chamber of Commerce building reads: "Western States Life Pro[...]".
