Plates in: California aeronautics photograph album : Dole Race and others, front pocket.
Three quarter length portrait, dressed in flight suit, parchute. Stamped on verso: "Please credit this photo to Boeing Air Transport System". Inscription on front - "Ira Eaker, captac".

Ira Clarence Eaker born 1896, died 1987. Served in Infantry, transferring to Air Service in 1924. Between December 1926 and May 1927, was one of pilots on Pan American flight making goodwill trip around South America.
