Photograph caption dated May 7, 1964 reads, "Don Drysdale wasn't too happy with a close call that went against him last night when he pitched against the Houston Colts, and the big Van Nuys righthander voiced a wee bit of displeasure. It must have worked, as he became the first Dodger pitcher of the year to win three games. His record is now 3-1."
