Robert L. Nider, 36, ex-paratrooper, shot and killed himself in his automobile as sheriff's deputies sought him for the mysterious strangulation murder of his pretty sweetheart, Mrs. Celia S. Zdon, 29, allegedly a result from a furious lover's quarrel.
Photograph caption dated November 12, 1947 reads, "Robert L. Nider - Strangled Woman's Boyfriend Found Shot to Death."
