Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
Publicity men are sometimes portrayed in pictures in a none-too-favorable light, but not in two forthcoming movies, "The Miracle of the Bells" and "State of the Union," in which Fred MacMurray and Van Johnson, respectively, appear as idealistic press agent heroes. Here, Les Mason (center), president of the Screen Publicists Guild, composed of 400 publicity men who exploit Hollywood's wares, presents the two stars with honorary membership in the organization. Photograph dated November 22, 1947.
