Description
First photograph caption dated February 7, 1984 reads, "Thick black paint mars Richard Wyatt's surrealistic Olympic mural that is displayed along Harbor Freeway."; Second photograph caption dated July 1, 1984 reads, "Richard Wyatt's Olympic mural, located on the Harbor Freeway northbound at Adams Boulevard, was publicly defaced. Vandalism--and weather damage--are two of the dangers of an exposed 'drive-thru museum.'"
