Description
Photograph of a view of the corner of Second Street and Spring Street during the Columbus Day Parade, October 21, 1892. Two cable-cars and a horse-drawn carriage attempt to make their way down the streets that are congested with celebratory citizens. The facades of high rise buildings are visible in the background, with signs reading "[...] Dry Goods, and Notions." as well as "Bank" from which building more celebrants are hanging crepe paper out a balcony window. Utility lines fill the space near the top of the frame.
